mediaCam in Usability
Sage (UK) Limited, a top FTSE 100 company, is using mediaCam to help provide an unrivalled experience for their online customers.
Sage carried out extensive task-based testing on their new website during development and before going live to make sure they were providing the best possible web-based experience and services for their customers, accountants, developers and resellers.
After kitting out one of their labs with the latest version of mediaCam, Sage then selected customers and clients to represent an accurate cross-section of all potential users of their website. With over fifty carefully selected tasks the recruits set about their jobs while mediaCam recorded their every move. MediaControl structured and controlled the tasks and with mediaCam's advanced editing features the captures were quickly broken down and analysed. Problem areas were easily identified and communicated.
"MediaCam has been a revelation to us", said Justin Barlow at Sage. "We could not believe how easy it made the whole usability testing process. We identified all the problem areas very quickly and just as importantly were able to communicate these issues to all the content managers and developers with a click of a mouse."
